1Day 1 — Cairo, Bahariya & into the desert
Early pick-up in Cairo and drive to Bahariya (4.5 hours). Lunch in the oasis, then by 4x4 to the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and Agabat. Sunset in the White Desert, camp set-up, dinner and stargazing.
2Day 2 — Sunrise & return
Wake up for sunrise, breakfast at camp and a morning drive among the most famous formations. Optional hot-spring stop in Bahariya before returning to Cairo in the evening.

Are there toilets at the camp?
The White Desert is a protected wilderness with no buildings. We bring a private portable toilet tent for every camp.
How cold does it get at night?
From December to February night temperatures can fall to 3–8 °C. We provide warm sleeping bags and blankets; bring a fleece and a hat.
Can I travel solo?
Yes, many of our guests are solo travellers. You will share the vehicle with a small group, or book privately.
