White & Black Desert Camping Safari
Two days, one night under the stars among the chalk sculptures

A sea of chalk sculptures under the clearest skies in Egypt
Wind-carved chalk formations rise like icebergs from the sand. By night, the White Desert National Park offers some of the darkest skies on Earth.
Nothing prepares you for the White Desert. Thousands of chalk towers — the Mushroom, the Chicken, the Inselbergs — glow white at noon, gold at sunset and silver under the moon.
We camp among the formations Bedouin style: a fire, a simple and delicious dinner cooked on the coals, and a sky so dark that the Milky Way casts shadows. Desert foxes sometimes visit the camp at night.
